| Welcome to Fell View Image: http://www.velocityangling.co.uk/Fellview/e107_files/public/1171557403_1_FT0_fellview_advert.jpg Fell View Lake is a coarse fishery syndicate located at the foot of Beacon Fell near Garstang. Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty this 40 man/woman syndicate contains most species of fish from rudd, roach and gudgeon to carp around the 25lb mark and catfish stocked at 35lb. At approximately 3 acres in size the venue is easily fishable by people of all levels of ability. I joined the syndicate in 2004 right at the beginning of the season mainly because of the security and the friendly atmosphere. I take my wife and kids with me safe in the knowledge not only is my kit safe but my kids are too. The fishing is almost a side interest because once you come under the spell of the beautiful surroundings and the fantastic people you will find yourself wanting to just be there. In the summer the lake is at it's most amazing with fantastic views from the banks and of course the prolific catfish sport too. Don't be fooled by the intimacy of the lake and expect a runs water you need to put in the time and a modicum of effort to reap the rewards. Image: http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p278/richard_haggath/Fellview00005.jpg Image: http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p278/richard_haggath/Fellview00002.jpg during the year i met some good anglers and i am pleased to say made some good friends too. Janice and David are just so accommodating and often can be found out on the banks socialising with the members which adds to the family feel of the place. There were several memorable moments for me last year the first being my first Lancashire carp caught in the extreme cold which illustrated to me quality of the fish in the lake. Sadly that was to be my last fish for a couple of months as my fishing turned to camping, however i still returned regularly for my dose of Fell View magic and actually culminated my season with 9 runs in a 36 hour session so like i said put in the time and effort and you will get your rewards.the Current Catfish record is 27.5lbs. One other thing that sticks in my mind was seeing my children taking up fishing and catching gudgeon and roach. if you have any questions about the venue or want a little more info then ask away or visit the syndicate website at http://www.fellviewlake.co.uk |

Nice Pics Jonny. The 13lb 8oz carp - I had that one off the top earlier this year at 12lb I think, so it seems to have gained a decent amount of weight. I like the scattered linear.
